Supporting College Expenses

The purpose of the student employment program at Northwood University is to assist students in meeting their college expenses through employment and to provide real-world experience.

Northwood students have the opportunity to find part-time employment both on and off campus through the Student Employment Center.

Student Employment sets you up for success!

Students who work on campus and in community service positions have higher GPAs and graduation rates.

How Do I Get a Job as a Northwood Student?

The Student Employment Center oversees the program as part of the Office of Financial Aid.

Click here to access the live job board, which includes:

• Part-time on-campus employment (coordinated directly by the Student Employment Center)
• Off-campus community service work study (for those who qualify)
• Off-campus jobs from private sector businesses in the area

Just like with other jobs, you will need to apply and interview for these positions. Hiring will be at the discretion of the supervisor or employer.

Student Employment Positions

Positions available for Student Employment can be work study or non-work study.

• Work Study positions are partially funded by the Federal Government and you must have both completed a FAFSA and have financial need to be eligible. Not sure if you quality? Email to find out more!
• Non-Work Study positions are considered regular student employment and are not based on need. You will need to report your earnings from this position on next year’s FAFSA.
